just arrived at Bonneval on my way through.. Have stayed here many times in my campervan but always thought I'd arrived too late for anywhere to be open so never explored... This time I arrived earlier and Took a stroll to find this place. Only marked down for atmosphere because there was only staff there at this late hour. Decided on a standard lamb kebab and the chef went at it straight away. In a short time I was presented with my meal and asked for a very small amount of€7 for it. Well pleased. Took the carton back to the motorhome and just devoured it, thoroughly enjoying every bit.. now, I find out this place is open till late too so I have no excuse in the future.
Recommended.. for lamb kebab and chips anyway.- Service

Wat een kracht en karakter om zoiets sociaal maatschappelijks te doen terwijl je druk moet zijn met ondernemen en geld verdienen.
Aldus, ik moest hier eten en kennis maken met deze bijzondere mensen.
's Avonds heb ik een broodje döner kebab besteld, in mijn hakketakke frans.
Maar ik mocht fouten maken en ze hielpen mij de juiste woorden vinden.
Ik kreeg extra rauwkost toen ik vroeg waar het was (het was verstopt onder de gulle portie vlees).
Heerlijke, eerlijke vriendelijkheid, fijne service, schone zaak.
Ik zat naast een vriendelijke man, die ook engels, frans en gebarentaal inzette om even een gezellig gesprek te kunnen hebben.
Ik verhuis naar Bonneval! ;)

The food is good and fresh, with friendly service. I was walking through the market in the morning and saw the owner offering a young man a free cup of tea. What strength and character to do something so socially responsible while being busy running a business and making money. So, I had to eat here and meet these special people. In the evening, I ordered a döner kebab sandwich, in my choppy French. But I was allowed to make mistakes, and they helped me find the right words. I was given extra raw vegetables when I asked where they were (they were hidden under the generous portion of meat). Delicious, honest friendliness, great service, clean place. I sat next to a friendly man who also used English, French, and sign language to have a pleasant conversation. I'm moving to Bonneval! ;) Thanks, my new friends
